Live at Silvana

A clip from my solo over a tune by one of my former teachers, Jerry Bergonzi, entitled A Different Look. Jerry’s tunes are the best!

Live at Silvana

The melody to my tune Roe’s Song, written for my girlfriend. I’m really proud of this melody, especially the bridge.

Live at Silvana

A clip of my solo, also over Roe’s Song.

Live at Silvana

A clip of the drum solo and melody out of a tune of mine entitled A Youthful Spirit. This is always a fun one to play!

Live at Silvana

A recent gig with my friend Joe Pino’s quintet. This is my solo over a great Jim Rotondi tune called Too Soon To Tell.

Live at Silvana

From the same gig with the Joe Pino Quintet. This is me playing over the Dave Hazeltine tune, Pearls.

A big band tune I wrote in tribute to one of my heroes, Dave Holland. I always loved his quintet and big band, and this is particularly inspired by the latter.

Another big band piece of mine, this one a deconstruction of the Thelonious Monk tune Straight, No Chaser. Tried to capture some of Monk’s (and my own) musical quirkiness with this one.

An original composition of mine for medium-sized ensemble. I’ve always been partial to counterpoint, so this features quite a bit of that.

Here’s another composition of mine for a medium-size group. Somewhat inspired by the Miles Davis tune All Blues, but with my own flavors added.
